Terms of use
These terms apply to your use of QuoteChecker ("QuoteChecker", "we", "us"), operated by Nebula Ventures LLC. By using the site or submitting a request, you agree to them.
What QuoteChecker is
QuoteChecker is a free referral service. We pass your project details to independent local contractors who may be able to do the work. We are not a contractor. We do not perform land clearing, grading, excavation, well drilling or any other work, and we are not a party to any agreement between you and a contractor.
Contractors are independent
Contractors are separate businesses. They set their own prices, schedules and terms, and are responsible for their own work, licensing, insurance and permits. Before hiring anyone, check their licensing and insurance, get the price and scope in writing, and confirm who handles any permits.
No guarantees
We can't guarantee that a contractor will contact you, provide a quote, be available, or meet your expectations. Cost ranges on this site are general estimates from published industry guides. They are not quotes.
Your responsibilities
- Give accurate information about yourself and your project.
- Only submit requests for property you own or are authorized to arrange work on.
- Don't use the service for anything unlawful or abusive.
Limitation of liability
The site and referral service are provided as is and as available. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of accuracy, suitability, availability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for independent contractors’ work or dealings. To the extent permitted by law, Nebula’s aggregate liability arising from this free site or referral service is limited to USD 100, and excludes indirect or consequential losses and lost profits. Nothing limits liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
Site materials and access
We and our licensors retain rights in the site, branding and original content. You may use the site for your own legitimate enquiry. You must not scrape it at scale, resell our materials, submit unauthorised information or interfere with the service. We may restrict access to address misuse, security risks or legal requirements, and may change or discontinue free features. Third-party data and materials remain subject to their owners’ rights.
Scope and changes
These terms apply to use from 28 October 2026. They do not change an existing signed agreement or remove accrued rights. Nothing excludes a right or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
